Studio Teachers' Network

The IADMS Education Committee has developed a new initiative for studio teachers.  As part of its education mission, the committee will create three attractive and informative posters each year with text drawn from IADMS Resource Papers.  These eye-catching posters are suitable for framing and designed to be hung in the studio to inform teachers and students.

Each year, when you join the IADMS Studio Teachers’ Network (STN) you will receive the three dance science posters. The posters and the STN are new IADMS initiatives designed to provide useful benefits to studio teachers, in recognition of the fact that teachers are a vital link in the dissemination of dance medicine and science information for the well-being of dancers.

The STN entitles teachers to:

• receive the three dance science posters for that year
• state that they belong to the IADMS Studio Teachers' Network
• receive 10% discount on one registration for Teachers' Day at the IADMS Annual Meeting immediately following the purchase of the posters
• receive regular hyper-links to the IADMS Bulletin for Teachers
• receive email notification of IADMS conferences
• be listed in the IADMS Studio Teachers' Network On-Line Directory

Please note that joining the STN does not entitle you to the additional benefits available to members of IADMS.  If you would like to become a member of IADMS, please click here for more information.  IADMS members are entitled to purchase the dance science posters at the "Member Price" listed in the IADMS On-Line Store.

IADMS will produce a new set of posters each year.  When you renew your association with the STN each year, you will receive the new set of posters.

The fee for the Studio Teachers' Network (STN) is $60 (US) per year.
